It can work over internet or can be deployed in intranet on a central server. In case of multi-school organisations, Nested Vidya can run as a distributed app running on servers of each school delivering speed and value to local users and integrating with other schools over internet.
Current features of Nested Vidya includes a robust User and Access management along with a sophisticated group based privilege system, Student Management, Fees Management, Accounts, Notice Board, Examination and Class Management. More features such as student forums, Employee Management, Payroll, HR and Course Management are under development. To run these applications on local intranet Nested Vidya kiosk (virtual machine) is available which will make your local machine working as shared servers, dedicated servers can also be used in intranet for Nested Vidya services.
